People these days are very, very quick to point the finger at others as somehow that makes it less likely their own "private" lives will come under scrutiny and it sets them up as people with a higher moral fibre, but almost certainly the very fact that they are pointing fingers means they're not.

Making decent signings in January is notoriously difficult and yet we desperately seem in need of a freshen up. IMO SD could do a whole lot worse than asking Chelsea to let him stay and then, having spent ages getting him physically and mentally fit, let's start playing him and see what the second h...

I think there's lot of guff being spouted about our "style of football" and how some "supporters" have had enough of it. I think it's probably a bit of a smoke screen for some who have found the PL buzz wearing thin and have forgotten about the wilderness years from 1976 until 2009 (and a few after ...

As someone pointed out on here a short while ago, the offside law was originally brought in to prevent "goal hanging" and was never intended to be used to wipe out goals like the Wolves goal yesterday. The whole thing has become stupid and is turning genuine fans off.

I'm CERTAINLY not calling for SD's head, but I do find it rather worrying that a couple of years ago we were largely giving the "top" teams a real game, especially at The Turf, but we seem to have regressed in many ways, rather than move forward and we most often seem to give them far less trouble. ...

It really sounds like a non story/moaner tbh. Can't see the Supa Dupa clubs letting that happen. They don't want to share out equally what's on the table now, without having, from their perspective, more outstretched hands to satisfy. Does all this make a PL 2 featuring the best of the current Championship (and maybe one or two other big hitters like Sunderland, Ipswich and Pompey for example) all the more likely? But that would then involve Sky and other interested broadcasters paying much bigger fees to screen the games.

Palace won't sell Wilf at ANY price as he's THE biggest reason they stay fairly comfortably in the PL each year.
