Re: Will Maguire push up Tarkowski's value?
I think he's completely overrated. Like myself and a poster agreed on the other day, he's brilliant when attacking set-pieces, but dodgy af when defending. Not convinced at all. It's almost like his performance for England last summer is the only reason for that fee. Watch Gomez at Liverpool when he...

FactualFrank you do clearly rate Vydra very highly. The question then becomes for me, would changing our style to accommodate him be a good ...

Re: Leeds move for Vydra
I'd be inclined to trust Dyche on whether it would be a good idea to let Vydra go and whether he is up to playing PL football. I and many others wanted Ben Mee at centre back when he was left back. Sean Dyche didn't agree so kept him at left back. He then tried him at centre back - not done too bad...

I'm a bit baffled why, every time there has been a thread on Vydra, there are posters who evidently regard him as a strong asset for us. They won't sell for £6m. If they sell Vydra, they need a replacement, and there's no guarantee (in fact, it's unlikely) that a £6m replacement would be as good.
