A couple of things stick in my mind, one being he used to come into my dads shop in town when I was a kid, and always chatted with me when I was there knowing I was football mad……

Pancreatic cancer again……….terrible news but glad they have been clear in saying it’s this type of cancer……..needs the research to detect early as the signs usually only appear when it’s too late.

Born in Burnley General 1962 lived in Colne until 1968 when my dad was offered a job in Whitstable, Kent weaving products for use in osier making. Lived here ever since but moved to Herne Bay in 1999 when Whitstable became too trendy and up its own arse. Interesting HBC…..I was born (dare I say it)...
