Theres a chance we add another 60 runs in first hour tomorrow but doubt Root will declare at that which probably won't give us enough time to bowl them out unless the pitch gets alot worse

Re: England vs West Indies 2nd Test (Manchester)
Could England live to regret Dom Sibley's lengthy 120 in the first innings when the weather forecast was so bad and we had the likelihood of losing a day's play? Perhaps There's an argument that as long as we've been crying out for an opener like Sibley, that sort of play has died out these days IMO...

England could yet win this match, but even if they do there's still lots of :?: marks in both the batting and bowling departments. The positives are Burns, Crawley & Sibley look like solid top order test players, and they'll be around for years to come, Denly's got to go, he's 34 and we need to get...

Not too concerned about Burns he'll be around for a long time probably future captain
Sibley's the interesting one he starts slow but gets some big scores when settled in 1st class games
Hopefully he starts to do same in test matches

Not intended as a trap
Pope and Tarks have been around the England squad before but take off the claret tinted specs and would either make the starting lineup

The starting 11 is beginning to look the strongest it’s been since the ‘golden generation’ when with half decent management, we should have won at least one trophy. I think the quality of the depth of the squad is very important, and their ability to fit in readily. There are quite a few players no...

I'm not sure that that's really the point. We look a far better team with either Vydra and Rodriguez alongside Wood because we play much better football.
