If there is a buy back that is even worse. Strange how Muric’s mistakes in the first half of last season have all been forgotten Muric was judged by different standards. If Muric was beaten by a near post header from 4 yards out (deflected), there were no great cries about how incompetent he was and how it's unacceptable to be beaten from t...

I'd no idea what it was at the time but having seen the goal now from every angle I'm baffled we had any sort of wait. Same reason as why Nottingham Forest's goal in the away game was delayed by VAR. The VAR man was trying from all angles to find the slightest touch of a finger on the ball so that ...

There are two reasons to sack Kompany, and the score of 13 points in 23 games isn't one of them. What's past is past, and if a young manager has made mistakes then we can hope he has learned from them. Perhaps he has, perhaps he hasn't, but there is no need to sack him on the basis of past mistakes....

Or maybe they didn’t want to inflict more pain on VK (conspiracy theory obviously) but they definitely barely tried in the second half. That's how City play. If they go 3 up they don't risk losing any points (even if the risk is tiny) by chasing more goals at the expense of defence. They still keep...

Perhaps we should have a poll. We have let in 47 goals this season. How many would we have let in if Muric had been in the nets? As a guide, this thread covers 3 games, 6 goals, and for 3 of them Trafford is accused of being at fault. Is that the fair ratio? If Muric had been in the nets, would we h...

As much I like to be positive Trafford cost us the game again. He had loads of time and no pressure to collect the ball before it went out for a corner. I can tell where the VAR review came from for the second Fofana goal. As he tapped the ball into the net he stumbled and fell forwards, and his fingertip came close to the ball. If his finger had so much as brushed the ball, they would have disallowed it. They tried to do the same thing with Haaland...

It’s not really that hard to get. Fulham had 1.51 xG, we had 1.81. They had 15 shots to our 12. Hardly frightening amounts on either count. I watched the game too and despite them being better than us they didn’t create any chances you thought ‘how did he miss that’ or ‘we got away with that’. The ...

Depends what the water rates are. The rateable value is based on what the house was worth 60 years ago, so if it's an old back-to-back terrace like mine (well, two back-to-backs) then the water rates will still be cheaper.
