Not in my wildest dreams would I have thought four would be enough to beat thee. It's the first time you've scored less than four all season.
It almost seems like you're star-struck when we come head to head.

Not really a Stout drinker but had a bottle of Bowland Deerstalker stout last night.
Nutty taste, not bad but not nearly as good as my favourite Bowland brew which is the Pheasant Plucker.

I give you the "Empress of Soul" Gladys Knight - If You Ever Get Your Hands On Love https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tF79V5eknc I do know that one, great tune. Bend Me, Shape Me, another good tune by Tyrone. ;) A mate has a vast collection of rare soul 45's and we've spent many a day listening to t...

Heads up for Game 14
Dazzler and COTC both sit this one out. That should make one hell of a friendly !
Blooming heck! Been on a decent run of form and starting to climb up the table up towards where I belong
and now I'm obliged to play a sodding friendly.
Not Happy.

So Obelisk was the first line up of The Cure Dazzler, or the tribute band? I spent two years at 22 Sigs in Churchill Barracks. Great times in the late 80’s in BAOR. I saw The Cure whilst I was out there, at the Loreley Festival 1989, part of the Prayer tour with Disintegration having been released ...

Already mentioned on the "Rovers Faint Play Off Hopes..."
thread.
We're not under contract to read every single post.
Anyway, the topic is deserving of a thread of its own.

One of the school pals who first performed as Obelisk was in my Signal Squadron in Lippstadt, Germany.
Can't recall his name. he seemed to be a reserved kind of chap.

BE FUSSED ! Me and the pooch are
Scoring is 3 for a direct hit; 2 for next square in any direction; 1 for the next ring of squares
I have checked your score. It is a 0, 2, 2, 2, 2 = 8
Hope this helps
I thought it was 5,3, 1,...don't know where I got that from..
Cheers Ralph

Written before the game started, here are the first reports. More to follow once we've sorted out our technical issues. I'm not overly fussed, Ralph, because barring any mistakes it seems I have secured my first win of the new season but I calculated I actually scored 12 with 4 next door misses. Or...

That does not make me less of a man just because she chooses not to have sex with me as much as other men.
I think I would have phrased it differently.

For goodness sake! not one poster seems to be against women playing football, it's the thought of the Women's team having a detrimental effect on financing the Men's team.

Can any one answer me this?
Why can an amateur sport which doesn’t offer enough quality to finance its self be deemed as professional because another sport is paying for it?
Does this happen in any other sports?
British Darts Organisation....But it went BUST!!

The Guinness Book of Hit Singles recognizes a one hit wonder as an artist or group of artists who achieved a number 1 hit in the Uk charts and then had no other chart entries. Many of the songs quoted on here were never near number ones: I do appreciate that one hit wonder can be used in a looser s...

This far and no one has mentioned Stephen Defour? I'm pretty sure the previous posters just don't understand... I'm not so sure that Defour was past his best, I think it might have been a case that his midfield compatriots had up the ante. De Bruyne? Besides, he was never quite a regular for Belgium.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned possibly the best two:-
Peter Noble and Keith Newton
Noble had been plying his trade in Divisions 2 & 3 before stepping back up to the top flight.
Newton had already been mentioned.
