Cannot believe I'm reading a poster wanting to convert Benson into a RB. Usually players play at least a dozen games or so before the braindead calls come for them to change position because they've spotted something in them in 90 minutes that professional coaches have missed for years. Brilliant s...

It was an eyebrow raiser when Ferguson made such a comment. He’s never displayed the levels to be even considered alongside the likes of Ferdinand, Vidic, Pallister, Bruce, McGrath and Edwards to name but a few. OK so he’s had some injury problems but he hasn’t ever displayed the sort of quality to...

I the middle you need to be a technician or an engine. Ideally both. In the middle you’re playing a 360 game, wanting to go on the half turn, constant scanning, and that first touch has to move the ball either into another plays path or be good enough to avoid getting an oppo play involved. Benson, ...

I think people are forgetting that Cork, Stephens, Gudmundsson, Bardsley , Norris and even Pieters haven't played much football recently and Barnes had Wood have been out of form which was on show today. How Benson can be criticised when he actualy brought some energy in the middle is beyond me. En...

You'd have thought we'd just been beaten by a side from a lower division with all the stupid posts on here. I, for one, thought that Stephens had a good game. He was lazy (I take the point he’s not played much), passing was wayward. His body shapes were horrendous resulting in him getting nutmegged...

Benson looks a very good player in the making. Incredible that people have had a go at him, particularly as he’s been played out of position on a couple of occasions. Glennon looks a good footballer as well. He’s just not technically gifted enough to play in the middle of the park. I’d shift him to...

Wood played up front alone, he ran channels well, he had no or little support. The distance between him and Barnes was shocking at times. Barnes one touch flicks, lazy passi...

Add Chris Wood to the naughty list today, and probably for most of this season.
As a goal scorer he's good, no doubt about that when he's in form, but as a footballer he's completely turgid.
I think Wood did well today.

Ashley Barnes has been a great servant for this club and deserves to be treated with grace. His legs have gone, his head has gone. He’s reached his end of his time at BFC. Stephens: ship him off Norris looks a very good technically gifted footballer. His distribution is good, and his positioning is ...

Immediately if you get one of the big spenders in for a player, you can ask more. You can't ask more if its only one or two mediocre teams bidding. Players prices are not static, how the hell otherwise did Leicester get so much for Maguire? A bidding war is different, an immediate need at a club is...

The Mourinho style is poles apart from that of Dyche He plays a back four (yes the same) He plays with two holding midfielders and then a three (with real pace out wide) with Kane up front They play mainly on the counter attack using that pace He also gives Kane license to roam back into midfield k...

I would say there is practically no chance of Leicester signing Dyche currently. There playing style completely contrasts Dyche. This is the problem with most fans, you’re judging his ability as a manager in his current limitations. He’s pragmatic, he understands football, and he understands the li...

Dyche has been signalling "come and get me" since last Spring. If someone like Palace or Newcastle had approached him to manage them in the last few months, bearing in mind Dyche's obvious falling out with Garlick, I would have been surprised if he hadn't gone. Dyche has been planning a exit strate...

I think he will have to learn to be a bit more careful and perhaps make sure he has a PR because any joke or word said in jest can quickly turn against you. He clearly felt nervous but credit to him for answering all the questions. He should learn from the Dyche book of interviews 101. Clearly a gr...

Bad news for them, potentially good news for us - Palace are one of very few clubs where I think it's a reasonable possibility both that they would offer Sean Dyche a job, and that he would take it. But not if they're in shambles with no players, and I don't think he would want to step into an owen...

I gave up drinking at 23, didn’t enjoy it, more of a social construct. That was 15 years ago and I don’t miss it one bit. My sister and I try to give up something for one month at a time. For example, it’s crisps in January. In February, coffee, and so on.

This is a local fiction. Our in-ground costs are not out of sync with other in-ground costs. I believe the recent stagnation is a result of the fall out between individuals at the club, and I don't believe the manager and chairman were the only two involved.
