Jack Nadin's book, Burnley Inns and Taverns (2007) names some 199 pubs in Burnley down the years. Jacks book was published in 2007 after which several more have closed. Theres only the Coach and Horses open (or was before lockdown) on Church street I think now.

Ive just tried updating my details, set up account ok, but theres no information about previous sales, ticket purchases NOTHING.
The club auto email then sent TWO new Clarets Numbers within 7 minutes of each other.

According to the report on the clubs first AGM in 1926, There were 6,000 shares at £1 each when the offer was made in 1924. Some 4,700 were taken up leaving them short of their target and these were offered again in 1926.

The Burnley papers are online up to 1955. Then you need the Library access from then on. £12:95 a months access to the whole British Library collection. Good search facilities too. It’s a pity that the rest of the BUrnley papers were not digitised. I guess they may be in future.

There was another stick of German bombs dropped that damaged houses at the top of Rossendale Road in 1941.
It was a good job no one was sat on the privy at the time.

I answered the 'Underdog' question and said that were not Underdogs any more. Were a Premier league club, we might have been underdogs in Division 4 but not now.
