Given that Dyche normally takes his medical, science, fitness, etc teams with him, and considering the facilities at The Campus in Portugal, i wonder if the medical will be in Portugal? Would ensure JR gets his Dyche pre-season. A calculated gamble?

Newcastle away early 80’s. Keegan's last game. Spent the game huddled under the concrete lip that curled round the away end. Probably just wearing a diamond Pringle jumper though.

Wettest was Cardiff away in the Ternent promotion season. Wetter than an otters pocket.

In my opinion the best ever away support was/ were the several hundreds and even the thousands that used to turn out to follow us all around the country in the lower leagues. How many times at away games were we greater in number than the home support? We’ve been rewarded. And long may it continue. ...

It’s no wonder we’ve always had a problem with Cardiff. I can remember them frothing at the mouth on the Longside divide when this was sung. Some songs seemed perfectly acceptable when in fact they were totally unacceptable.

Apart from those about Simon Garner.

Whether or not ( & I see him as some of the current fans see Defour) he’d be good enough - his goals and overall play would be sufficient to list him as a Claret legend. If he was at peak fitness - absolutely.
