We were just the same back in the 70s goading away fans on the Longside! The CFS is fantastic and this 59 year old loves the atmosphere being generated. The idea that Weghorst would “lower” himself to play for us again having once played for Manchester United is a little far fetched. Have to say this year’s programme has been a much better effort than last year. I love the 72/73 review section and it certainly helps having so many new players to read about. I’d say it was well worth £3.50 of anyone’s money.

I agree. With 20,000 on the Turf is such an atmospheric place and OT was like a morgue in comparison. Being so far from the pitch makes it a strangely lifeless experience. These big city club fans have no idea what they are missing.

The time we won 2-0 in early 2020 we only took 2000 fans and tickets were £30 rather than £28 so the fact we confidently expect to sell over 7000 is pretty amazing.

Our clever movement around the box can hurt them but Watford’s front three are scary. Man City style strategic fouling when we lose the ball will be key. Surely Richardson must be on the bench on Friday? A Dyche style team would have a field day but we are nowhere near as physical as the Baggies.
