Re: Clarets v MKD Match thread
because Wood fouled him, I was amazed Moss didn't give it as a foul from the start. Impossible that that is a red card, glad they got it right in the endjedi_master wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 3:52 pmCan anyone agreeing that’s not a red explain why, please?
Deliberate hand ball, Wood through on goal, no cover?

Re: Clarets v MKD Match thread
it's astounding how some of you think that's a red card and not a foul by Wood.
Anyway, get Benson and Vydra on then meet with Pace after the game and ask nicely for some better players

That’s a bit over the top. Instead of being the usual negative self. He could have said something like, I had a positive meeting with the chairmen and he has re affirmed his interest in improving the club this window. I think that would have got us all excited and not said anything about actual fig...

I really thought he would be more optimistic about January signings. If anything it sounded like nothing at all had changed. Not expecting anything this window after that. the last thing I would expect him to say is "I had a great meeting, we are going to spend whatever we want" - other clubs aren'...

most of Phil Jones injuries seem to have occurred after he stopped playing alongside Johnny Evans and Rio Ferdinand - to me United never replaced that organization at the back and that resulted in him making lots of out of position last ditch tackles that he got injured from.

Brentford are second in the league and have every chance of going up, they would be insane to sell any of their players unless they are absolutely skint

I'm pretty sure it was the first time I'd seen us beat a team from a higher division, seemed like a big deal on the night. That got us the big tie with City, which naturally we lost.

clear foul on him............by his own player. Had the Liverpool player scored it might have been interesting but for the fact that the ever so clueless Mariner blew the whistle before it got to that stage - the standard of officiating is dreadful

I don't watch enough other teams, but if I did I'd put Burnley top to watch in defence and close to bottom in attack. I'm amazed by how we defend, but also amazed how inept we look in attack. Of course there are exceptions, we looked pretty good attacking at Leeds and Palace recently but that's jus...

The foul given for the supposed push by the Brighton player was a joke as well. Nowhere near a foul. I'm getting sick of it now. Shout loudly and fall over and the ref blows his whistle as if by instinct. Blatant cheating. VAR could actually sort it out but it has actually gone the other way by con...
