The Staff is a great pub and I spent a lot of time in the three pigs when I played cricket for new ridings in Halifax. They were our sponsor so it was a good excuse to go every week ha ha! At the moment it's Calan's in Hebden Bridge. I usually manage a pint or two in there on a Thursday afternoon after walking the dog in the hills above the town.

That collection of own goals(plus the one he scored for Brighton, on his return) by Duffy were what did for them GD wise last year.

I seem to remember us beating them, at their place,four nil at an absolute canter in the League Cup four years ago. You know? An actual competitive fixture; not a friendly.

Yes. It's the sort of peaceful protest I advocate. Much better than booing the team or having angry mobs hurling abuse and worse outside the ground. Andre Gray. We had just come down from the Prem and we were signing arguably the best striking prospect in the Championship. It turned out we were with him picking up the divisional golden boot, nine months after joining us.
