Re: McNeill
I think we are now at the stage of goal and assist probability. With Dwight it is unlikely he will get more than 1 assist by May on current form. So for me it has to be Jay and Weghorst with Cornet wide. Unrelated but that loss of Orsic and not getting Barkley done after he apparently decided to com...

Re: Tonight's footy 16/3
In that 15 game run from Brentford at home to Spurs at home we got 17 pts from 15 games. Do that kind of run again (which was fairly average with only 3 wins) and we’ll finish on 35 points. That makes Brighton (technically) and everyone below catchable, though more likely it is only Brentford who ma...

Re: If the worst comes to the worst what have we got to show for all the Premier league money ?
That we haven’t even replaced the cricket field stand is a joke and a disgrace. The roof needed fixing (literally) while the sun is shining and as the takeover proves, debt is possible which could have funded it with a sensible repayment plan. The trouble is, when we go down it is hard to see any of...

I was wanting Cork to start and I would have played Jay with Cornet wide and Dwight right (or benched). However, that chance for Dwight was an absolute sitter, an easy header just as easy as Toney’s. I note it was Westwood who delivered it. I’m also reflecting on relegation battles being cagey affai...

Westwood with more touches and passes than any other Claret. Just needs to find a moment.
Both sides lacking quality, probably due to fear, whoever can rise to their best level will win this, hopefully it is us. Clear heads and composure what we need.

Malcom would be perfect but plenty of sides will want a cheap right winger (apart from wages) for a crucial 4 mths. Somebody like West Ham but many more options abroad, such as a return to Barca.
Can’t see us taking a punt on anyone now in that context. Need to keep focused.

We only have City and Spurs of the big six to play, I’d say every other game is winnable, West Ham away the least likely. That leaves nine others. Southampton are bad away, Everton are worse.
