Re: Brighton versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Just got back from the Underground bar in Benalmadena, after watching that performance. Awful, are we the only team in England who play without a midfield? Our tactics are so predictable and one-dimensional, pass it around at the back for a vey short while, then whack it aimlessly forward in the gen...

I went to that away match at Sheffield Utd to watch the youth team, as well as both legs of the final. They were a cracking young team with the craft and skill of Thomas and West and the strength and power of Kndon, Brown etc. You are right about Eric Probert, I had quite a few nights out with Eric ...

Re: Today's Footy
I really am getting totally confused now with VAR and the referees interpretations of it. That was a clear foul by the Brighton player on the Spurs player before the equaliser, yet the ref who was a couple of yards away from it doesn't give it, then the VAR ref tells him to look at it. In slow motio...

When Jayrod plays we don't play as many long balls out from the back, he is a much better link up player than Barnes. I prefer football to someone winning second balls.

Jayrod is a better footballer than Barnes and, in my opinion, should start every game before him. We simply play better football when Jayrod is in he team. But, Dyche prefers Barnes for some reason.

I remember McParland at Villa, a very direct left winger but also a very hard man and could be a nasty piece of work, which was strange for a winger in those days. He would think nothing of sticking and elbow or boot into the opposing defender. A different breed in those days.

At least you can pick the players out easily with it, not like all these black/very dark strips. On another note, Pickford's arms are definitely too short to be a goalkeeper.

I didn't see tonight's performance, but what I have seen of them they play fast, attacking football, keeping the ball on the deck mostly, passing into space for players who tend to be moving no-stop. The article states that we have the lowest penalty ratio per game in Europe, if I read it correctly. That's what happens when a team doesn't get many men in the penalty area in open play. Is that our problem?
