Fulham don't look very good and they don't have the goalscorer this season.
Palhinha will be a massive loss for Fulham if he goes in January as expected.

From 12th downwards they look most likely to contest the relegation spots. Can't see either Palace or West Ham being anywhere near.

Let's hope this sorry affair resonates with those who mock the death of Jack Walker on a weekly basis.
Sadly it won't, because for some sick reason, Jack Walker dying of cancer is somehow seen as funny by a section of our support.

It's really hard to answer pre-Luton. That game will tell us so much. If we win tomorrow I can see us following it up by beating Chelsea at home and going to Brentford/Bournemouth full of confidence as a result. I will be positive and say Yes, and that we will do the job tomorrow night. Indeed. Tom...

I think that is now our main focus as a club and the footballing side is secondary. The strange comments from Kompany have done nothing to dissuade me of that. But surely VK and Alan Pace must realise that unless we are constantly at the top table then everything depreciates and buying raw players ...

If anything them tables highlight that our failure to take any points from top 8 teams was one of the reasons we were relegated that season. Shows how important it is to be competitive against the top teams The table at the bottom are the Norwich results. We managed to take points off the top teams...

Here are the comparable tables for the last five seasons when we were in the Prem and where we acquired the points.
We've got to ensure we do take a few points off the top sides, otherwise we'll end up like Norwich.

Massive game against Luton on Tuesday and I have a feeling we'll batter them.
Looking at the highlights of the game yesterday at Goodison we should have a field day against their defence.

I don't care if we don't survive this season, VK is building something for the long term here and we need to be patient and support these young lads, they are going to need the fans behind them. The issue with that sentiment is that some think that if we get relegated we are guaranteed to make an a...

not harmed Brighton much but they are way further along their journey. If we bring young lads in and sell them on to bigger and better things that helps us attract the next one as they see a route to a big club. But isn't that where Tony Bloom's money helped them to prop-up any financial shortfall?...

I meant after the first Dyche PL season we were relegated and kept together the majority of the side (bar Tripps and Ings) and bounced back with largely the same group. Keeping the same group wasn’t possible last season, we needed the cash to rebuild, contracts were ending, players got old and the ...

This is the issue - expectations. Honestly, why anyone would think we could beat Champions League teams, top 4-8 quality, big City clubs witb Saudi state backing, away from home, with a team of largely 18-21 year olds who have never kicked a ball in this league… is, well, beyond me. I can’t work it...

Cullen, like the rest of our midfield just can't cope with the pace, skill and strength of this league
Berge should be more than good enough though.

And VK even said plenty of time how physical the league is and how it’s moved on even from when he last played in 2019.
Going even further back when we played Chelsea in 2014 they looked far bigger than our players.

In the last 10 years we have played them 16 times and won 1. We have taken 2 points out of 24 at home! I just think the point was made that when teams like Man U. are as poor as they have been for some time then you have to take some of those opportunities to get a few points against them. Otherwis...

Unfortunately in the second half we created bugger all. And for a team that at this moment in time can't keep a clean sheet it doesn't bode well. As CT said in his match report these are the sort of teams you need to take points from if we have to have any chance this season. Obviously not every wee...

Yes, fair point.
It just feels different, the shift is bigger.
For what it's worth however I think we'll be fine.
Interestingly, when we went down in 09/10 we had 30 points. That I think is/or was the lowest points total for the club finishing in 18th.

The gap has become too big and the three promoted clubs will be cast adrift?
