£72m actually! One of the worst signings in PL history surely, taking the fee into consideration.
Just watching MOTD2 and Kepa had a blinder today. Not saying it makes him worth £72m but credit where it's due.

OK - move Burnley CC to Lowerhouse CC. You'd think Lowerhouse residents would be happier about supporting a club with the town's name in it. If they aren't happy, for whatever reason, then find some suitable land in Lowerhouse to relocate them. Problem solved.

I get what you are saying. I doubt any of your (1), (2) and (3) would be written into a player's contract. All 3 points are things that could only be agreed with a club on the other side of the loan. A loan agreement for a player is an agreement between two clubs, in this case Burnley and Besiktas. It would be extremely difficult for Burnley and Wout Weghorst to agree terms of his loan agreement with Besiktas when WW's original contract was agreed with Burnley - the club that he was going on lo...

So, Wout Weghorst's contract with Burnley was written such that if Burnley were to be relegated Wout Weghorst would go out on loan to another club in a top division - and that is the basis that Wout Weghorst signed for Burnley. I don't see any "stamping of feet" in those actions. Except Paul, it wa...

I don't believe Weghorst has made that offer. Not only because the figure could be more than his annual net pay but it just gives Besiktas, who hardly need it, even more encouragement.
