I've said it before and I'll say it again, we have certain refs who assume it's a foul every time a player goes down squealing, Taylor is one, Moss is another, and the big cheats play to it, absolutely embarrassing.

As a club, we are/were still supporting him and his fitness. I saw him training at the Stockton-on-tees David Lloyd gym in March, he had a bloke in a Burnley polo shirt putting him through his paces.

It has nothing to do with "permission" it's about contract,
I would agree we would need "permission" if we were still within contract period, but that's not what you'd said exactly.
