Re: Dale Stephens
That will mean Leeds go up instead. Not sure which is worse, they're as bad as each other. That is one to wrestle with.... My sleepless nights used to be when i was wrangling over whether i disliked wovers more than dirty Leeds. Note wovers are an irrelevance my thoughts have turned to the Albion v...

I love Sussex.... But it's 5 hours on the train.... Oh and the odd mini holiday such as right now as I'm staying up until Wednesday to be able to see the Sunderland game. Ironic that i can't get hold of 2 tickets for arsenal... Will visit the ticket office tomorrow......

Re: Team finishing Saints match only 1 player different to last seasons team
I think a really fair point is that with the exclusion of Defour all our players were championship last season, which includes those few players brought in.

Burnley's youngest captains
In the FA Cup tie at the Stadium of Light I'm pretty sure our captain was Michael Keane.
When did we last have a captain younger for a senior game...? I sit next to an Oracle of BFC and today I posed this question and he came up with a name that I'll mention later....

Re: Sean's substitutions
This year we are on the front foot with substitutions......today the changes were exceptional...but we never played with three strikers and in that lies the tactical genius.. Barnes was shifted to the left hand side of the midfield ...they used him there as a target...pulling their centre half out o...

If he didnt know how well he is thought of at Burnley by the fans, he does now. class I think he did.....you only had to be at St Mary's when we were beaten there in the FA Cup to see that. Today the reception was sporting and showed some appreciation for a local lad...of course on this particular ...

Reckon he'll not leave the Premiership...there will be a number of clubs interested. West Ham's summer recruitment seemed to be more about quantity than quality...I guess they were preparing for European football.

Re: Do I not like that!
RIP Graham Taylor. A highly respected man within the game. An early post #4 stated "not the greatest manager". For a guy who came from a modest footballing background, he well overachieved and his CV looks very impressive. He was a brilliant communicator and always seemed a very likeable guy. I only...

i was 100% behind Wimbledon...though I'm sick of the media going on about how it was one of the biggest cup shocks ever. It's not even close to being the biggest shock in a final.

Re: Boro: CFS and the Hand Ball
I don't think that's the point. The point is, if there are surges and scrums, the police are likely to lean on the club to ensure that people sit down in accordance with the law. (Which would probably mean no home supporters in the CF Stand).) At present, there appears to be a bit of a blind eye be...
