I’ve always liked Barnes as even as a player who was not exactly blessed with skill he could be effective. However surely todays performance should show he is no longer capable of affecting even championship games. Poor and to be honest the “collapse “ near the end was just embarrassing.

Barry Foster was a brilliant Van der Valk and that superb theme tune always reminds me of 1973 when I got my A levels the brilliant Burnley team won the division 2 title and Rishton won the Worsley Cup at Enfield . Strange how on tune brings back so many memories of a great year. Presumably everyone...

Nice bloke pash. I remember having a really good chat with him at the clarets mad youth charity event at Rishton Golf club. We had a long chat about Cofe who he described as the best prospect he’d ever seen! Then Tony Yates scared us all to death!!! Happy days

They fly 3000 miles just to nest in your house. Amazing creatures and badly hit this year by bad weather over North Africa as they migrated. As a Celt you should be in tune with nature!!!

Tindall acted like a pest all through the match. I was surprised how much Newcastle wanted to win and waste time and dive. They were really up for it and I’m afraid our first half performance was nervous mistake ridden and poor.

He is a real curates egg of a player. Tremendous work rate and link up play but a poor header of the ball and no confidence in front of goal. Hopefully a goal or two will change that.
