One of the reasons Manchester City went from being one of my favourite other teams, all the way to the bottom of the cesspit of hate. Their fans are the worst kind. Vilified others who spent big, but absolutely have the “nothing to see here” mantra now.

Its the generation of people over 50 who embraced big supermarkets and out of town shopping outlets. Seems its now that generation moaning about the demise of the town centre. One thing you lot are consistent on though is blaming it all on the young. No mention of the young whatsoever. But you cont...

I’ll be honest, I had to Google it. Watford year before. Lost 6-0 to Man City. Last season. Arsenal v Chelsea. I would not have got that in a month of Sunday’s. That’s how it is now. Basically a nothing game unless your team is in it.

FA Cup Final Day. The showpiece of the FA callender. Well it use to be. What are you memories of final day? For me; just an 8 year old, my first memory is the 69 final, but only Manchester City’s red & black kit, thought it looked smart. Don’t recall the next at Wembley, Chelsea v Dirty Leeds. But o...

Ah but it is not about the club standing, it is about the revenue they can generate overseas. Dutch football doesn't even attract the Dutch. It once did. I was once an excited young teenager going to see them play at Old Trafford. Also went to see Juventus there as well. Because you could in the 70...

The more severe the punishment the better. I already think they should have been punished even before the ESL fiasco started, if only for poor sportsmanship and spending money far beyond their means. A club like Chelsea would be a mid table team if it weren't for the spending. I've mentioned it bef...

The UEFA fines are a joke. The FA should fine the clubs and split the money through the pyramid. I hope the fine by the Premier League is massive. I still think they should have a points deduction. They’ll just carry on next season like nothing happened, finish top six and get their money back. A 1...

It appears that the rules have been changed and you are now penalised if the consequences of your tackle include heavy contact with an opposing player. You can no longer do a “man and ball” tackle or a clearance where you clear the ball and subsequently collide with a player (Mee v Gomez when Mee c...

I fail to see what all the fuss is about. The ESL set-up seems to me to reflect the English Football League set-up, when formed in 1888, prior to the creation of a second tier in 1892. From small things, bigger things grow. For mine, let these big wigs dive around in the sun (I'm sure they won't be...
