Re: Come on Newcastle!
If I believed you that 9 points was our maximum, I would agree. Remember we have Newcastle on the last day. If they play like that, we can hardly fail to win. I know Everton barely had one chance and one chance can always be missed, but when the 6 defenders all fail to spot the single forward in th...

Re: Come on Newcastle!
I know that we don’t look like getting any more points all season but I would still think we can do better than Everton over the remaining games as they have a dreadful set of fixtures. It’s not over yet. Everton need 6 points from there remaining 11 games to be safe. No chance we are catching them...

Re: If the worst comes to the worst what have we got to show for all the Premier league money ?
We've no real idea how much we have to pay or over how long. I would expect us to break even if we had to sell Cornet and WW and Collins will go for way more than we paid for him at some point. Don't forget the press reported the Gibson fee and it was millions out in reality. But that’s the point I...

Re: If the worst comes to the worst what have we got to show for all the Premier league money ?
That depends on who we sell. If we sell a couple of players and bring in circa 50m in fees, we’ll have enough to spend at that level to build a side good enough for promotion. RV once you take out the remaining fees we still have to pay for Collins, Cornet, Weghorst etc…. How much do you think will...

Re: Dyche going......
Can’t see Bielsa wanting another gig in England. I’d add Knutsen from Bodo Glimt to the list though. But it’s whether the new owners want someone who is proven in the Chanpionship like Warnock or Pearson. I like the style Knutson plays but just not sure if it’s too big of a step up. Tbh that’s why ...

I actually think all the noises that come from the owners suggests they back him and that there’s almost no chance they fire him. Jesus Christ. You’ve never played up top with a long ball team and had to keep the ball. He hardly gave it away. Dyche is to blame He won 30% of his aerial duals and only managed to complete 13 passes with 26 touches of the ball. He was useless today, as I said if that was Chris Wood he would be ge...

Re: Jack Cork
Interesting that Dyche said they had been tracking Cornet for years. Agree though, I think he’s more of an advanced winger / inside forward type in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 style system. There’s a player there and we’ve definitely not seen the best of him. At Lyon for example he was quite high on assists...

Agree that we absolutely failed in both windows purely due to the fact we didn’t improve central midfield. The more worrying thing was that it didn’t even seem like it was a priority. Don’t really agree. Cork and Brownhill also started at Wolves and we looked solid, kept a clean sheet. Which were the two we lost earlier in the season that you mentioned? I think the question here is: why was he left out when he'd played so effectively on Westwood's return? Results since suggest we may have done better with Cork than Westwood in midfield.
