Re: Hows that not a penalty
If fatty Moss saw that at Old Trafford, Anfield, Emirates, Etihad etc, it's a penalty for the home team, no doubt about it.

VAR is still crap, Moss is even more crap and we could do with a couple of quality midfielders for next season.

Pope looks a very good batsman to me. I would be tempted to play him at number 5 in front of Stokes, with a longer term view of him playing at our problem position at number 3. He's just got his 50 in 77 deliveries.

Towards the end of the season I have become much more confident about our away form, so much so that I was actually expecting us to win at both Palace and Norwich, which is unusual for me.

Gudgeons ice cream used to come round two or three times a week, in a multi- coloured horse drawn cart. Staying up, you are right, in spoken Spanish they use three past tenses, tenia, tuve and he tenido mean I used to have, I had and I have had, whereas the French in spoken French would use only j'avais and j'ai eu. So the Spanish are distinguishing between a continuous action in the past (I used to h...

When the Burnley locals talk about Pendle Hill they are actually saying "hill, hill, hill". This comes from the Cumbric word "pen" for hill, followed by the Old English word "hyll" for hill, which becomes "Penhyll" which became "Pendle" to which was added modern day English "Hill" to clarify what it...

I don't this is a particularly easy wicket to bat on. If we put the ball in the right place with both pace and spin, we could put the Windies under some scoreboard pressure.
