Re: Rubbish
I'd much rather this "rubbish" than some of the stuff I've watched in the last 3/4 years. Accept that we are seen as a big club now in this league and teams will settle for a point against us and will sit and defend. Imagine being a PNE fan this morning, having offered nothing really in the 2nd half...

Absolutely and totally 1000% not the reason we dropped points, the performance was the reason however the ref needs highlighting. Failed to even give a free kick for the tackles on JBG and Jay Rod, both of which warranted yellow. The pen fair enough, possibly argue can’t see it, VAR gives that every...

Next home game take a look around where you're sat, you'll find Turf Moor is a much happier place this season. That says everything.
Dare I say even this board seems a much happier place as well.
Its got the makings of an absolute classic season in the history of BFC.

Spends too much time trying to wind up defenders, whine at the ref, and falling over tonight. If you want to wind defenders up stick the ball in the back of the net.
He works hard, but that’s it, no real quality and that’s an issue.

I just don’t get it with Costello, someone else mentioned it on another thread we just don’t want to seem to pass to him.
Watched him closely vs Luton and made some good runs, found space but just didn’t receive the ball. Was no surprise to see him subbed at HT tonight based off watching on TV.

Let’s face it we deserved a point at least. Watford will be sat wondering how on earth they won that.
There will be times this season that we’ll play a lot worse and come away with 3pts.
Just need a bit more work in the final 3rd which no doubt will come.

I can certainly see why Barnes would start, his pressing, his work rate, constant pain in the rear to defenders, was on show yesterday. It would be nice to get a 20 goal a season striker in but I guess that costs considerable money, if we have 3/4 guys able to score 10-15 goals a season from midfield / forward positions we’ll be fine. Personally I think if we do sign 3 cb’s then this suggests Collins is leaving. It could be that we play 3 at the back, in which case we’ll need 5 or 6 to cover injuries, suspensions, loss of form. Also competition for places is no bad thing, it pushes the players in the shirt. To often, certainly i...
