Re: Muric
Really glad to hear he had a good game today. Nick Pope's shocker did put in mind of the kind of thing Muric might do.... But he's young and his confidence will grow.

Well let's be honest it's the kind of thing Muric would do. To be fair to Nick Pope he tried a diving header and fell onto the ball. He's an outstanding keeper and everybody has a shocker at some point.Longsidelenny1882 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 6:00 pmIf muric had done that this board would have been in meltdown utc

Hopefully they don’t give him a long contract that he won’t see out. Think clubs needs to look at this as a collective. Will he still be there next season ? If we come up against him I just hope he doesn’t get applauded more than our own team. It’s time he and some of our fans moved on. Having said...

Don’t think any of the squad he had are really what he wants or needs. Saying that, if I had to choose one it probably is Taylor just on the basis that we’d probably do a deal and their left back (Mykolenko) looks absolutely shite. I think it’s a Dyche fantasy that he has Tarky and Keane available ...

Looking forward to watching this at the weekend. When I saw it was on Netflix I thought it'd be like all the photos of the back streets of Burnley and boarded up terraced houses in Burnley Wood. Glad to hear the comments about the beautiful countryside and down to earth, warm locals!

Conceding late on is a problem. I'm not convinced about Muric's ability. He doesn't look that confident to me.
Poor performance last night by our standards. But we remain unbeaten, we are difficult to beat and I'm still optimistic. I think the other teams around us know Burnley are the ones to watch.
