Re: Drinkwater going back to Chelsea
Joke of a decision to sign him and then not play him. His August issues aside, if a former £30 million plus midfielder in his late 20's who is a PL winner as well as a relatively recent England international, cannot get a game ahead of the perennially crap Jack Cork then something is seriously amiss...

I’ve watched Burnley since 1991 when I was ten years old, this hoof ball is the worst style of football I have ever experienced as a burnley fan. Wood has been poor for the first five games this season. He has contributed nothing except for being offside more than anyone else.
He needs benching, either start with Barnes and JRod or Barnes and Vydra against the carrot crunchers.

It took 19 minutes to get our big centre forward on after we went 3-1 down. A CF who dominates lower league teams due to his style. Only 21 minutes left at that point when it could have been 40. He also changed the formation instead of simply changing personnel first, then formation later. That wou...

Anderson in for Woakes would be the likely scenario.
A fast bowling quartet of a fit Jimmy Anderson, Broad, Archer and Stokes with Leach as the spinner would be an exciting prospect.
We would miss Woakes more for his very good and disciplined batting at number 8 than his bowling at the minute.
