As every year they were punching above their weight. He will still easily get another premier league job....

Trippier, Still in contact with Dyche, puts him down as the manager who transformed his career. Stayed it in multiple interviews, with local press and non local. Rarely mentions Howe. No..... that’s why they got relegated, having spunked 10’s of millions on style over substance players from big clubs, and failing to even maintain their standards. Dyche and Howe both only have one relegation on their C.V. I'm not 100% sure Dyche improved Trippier that much. He made him stay back ...

Pope has improved tremendously. At first he wasn't a patch on Heaton, but now he's on a par with him and could get even better. His all round game has improved, mainly due to improved awareness. If England ever play again, he has to be a shoe in. Have you been drinking? For the last 10 years solid?

Pope has improved his all round game and is very dominating now of his box and defence. McNeil has improved his strength and fitness more than anything, which is expected as he grows. City paid a chunk of Harts wages so he'd sod off. A number of over spending clubs will do that to get players out of the door, Leeds used to do it a lot when they were collapsing financially. At what point in a season do we stop struggling?
On the train back from the 0-0 at Newcastle we got talking to a few geordies who were convinced they were going down. They ended up pretty safe but were struggling quite far into the season.

A good source told me Bardsley was on 45k a week for his first deal here.
For a right back it shocked me a little, the n you realise he came from Stoke who were throwing wages about at the time. Not likely to throw a 70k a week contract away for 25k here.
