In fairness, it’s a brainless minority just as it is on here who choose to single out one of our own for abuse. Even clearer to identify the brainless when they defend the abuse.

Certainly the waiting list will be gone for next season.
I can see a small amount of churn but aside the club doing something mental like adding 10%+ to the pricing most folk will be back to see if VK can repeat his championship magic.

Re: Everton points deduction reduced
Yes, Burnley were at a financial disadvantage in 2021/22 when BFC were relegated. Then Everton signed Dwight McNeil, plus James Tarkowski, who was OOC ahead of 2022/23 season - season 4 if we continue your 1,2,3 list. Burnley didn't play Everton in "season 4." Both Burnley and Everton are now in se...

Re: Everton points deduction reduced
their (weak) defence will be based upon the double jeopardy aspect in that they've already been punished for it, so I cant see any further points deductions for Everton. Forest may well get off too. I think the point (Paul Waine accurately makes) is they've been deducted 6 points for breaching spen...

Their second breach is 2022/23. The penalty for the second breach (and Everton's appeal) comes later. Which is the point I made when I posted 'Obviously, the penalty (six points) may or may not not apply but my point remains.' Even so, whats to suggest we werent already at a disadvantage due to the...

Couldnt edit so:
This relates to the three seasons previous. i.e 2022/23, 2021/22 and 2020/21. McNeil signed for them in July 2022. Obviously, the penalty (six points) may or may not not apply but my point remains.

So, in brief: Season 1: Spend more than the rules allow to stay up at the expense of Club X, who are playing by the rules. Season 2: again spend more than the rules allow, this time to purchase players from the club X (such as Dwight McNeil), at reduced rate as their players wish to stay in the tope...

I’m not sure on the ‘doesn’t rate’ him. I’ve no doubt he thinks Trafford is the better keeper but for his own sake he needs taking out of the team for a while. What I don't understand is why not sign Traff last season? Either loan, loan with option or outright purchase? Especially if it was a '3 year plan' - would have been more time to develop... If he starts Sunday, I'll still think Kompany doesnt rate Muric.
He hasnt since June and in particular hasnt since Trafford has dropped his multiple clangers of late so I can't see it changing now.

I'm not ignoring his ratings. He's had a couple of decent games and 1 great 2nd half. He's had a slew of huge mistakes. Trafford's mistake led to us playing with a man short, we were dreadful before that but that undoubtedly influenced the game badly.. Another great post. I’d argue he’s dropped 2-3...
