Surprisingly, we did actually beat them at home in 86/87 when they won the league easily. A win which later turned out to deny them a 100 pts total and was also a fairly important 3 points for us in the end.

I was kind of hoping he was just going down this route to grift some easy money off people with flags in their bios but unfortunately it appears he has genuinely fully lost it. He'll be protesting 15 minute cities with Rickie Lambert in a week or two.

The bubble hasn't burst but TV income has definitely peaked. The only option is to give more and more games away to try and keep the same money coming in. The 'unofficial' streaming services were inevitably going to hit the value of these deals eventually.

I'm not sure it's a favour to Liverpool, it's just that they're pursuing it further. Good luck to them, it won't change anything about the result but if it further damages the reputation of VAR then i'm all for it.
