It wasn’t a toy for me. It was an LP. Sat up all Christmas Day and Boxing Day replaying London Calling by The Clash and learning the lyrics. Best Christmas present ever.

I was once watching Ashley Barnes warming up before a game with Westwood. They were hitting long balls to each other the full width of the pitch, one touch and fire back. Barnes' first touch, control and accuracy with his cross back was very impressive whereas Westwood was pretty average. I watched...

1/ I’d be delighted If we were to remain in the PL. Year after year it’s still an achievement. 2/ I’d quite enjoy revisiting some of the old haunts and possibly a few new ones if we went down. 3/ If we did go down I’d wonder about the financial stability of the club if we didn’t make an immediate re...

Whatever way you look at it, it’s stunning.
To think we used to have to collect for transfer funds with buckets at the turnstiles.
However it reinforces the horrible side of modern football where money rules. At least we have some humility within our team.

When Ings scored at Deadwood a WPC was seriously concerned about my health and repeatedly kept checking I was ok. I’m not sure whether she thought I was going to have a heart attack or if she feared my head would explode.

I thought the team celebrations were just that. TEAM celebrations. I’m no way implying anything else. I was there and I went crazy when ‘we’ scored. BOT. My boy played U18’s locally today. He thought one of the subs should have started, and could possibly have made a bigger impact than those in the starting 11. So not a debatable point with what you have said (nothing to do what the OP has said) after then. The opening poster is suggesting that the players are playing and doing well in spite of Dyche. I think the OP has a fair debatable point. I think Barnes is great. Horrible to play against. Wonderful asset for us. I watched his shooting practice pre- game before he was injured. He bagged from outside the box in every practice shot. Made me realise how deadly he can be. BUT. Now JR’s settled in...
