Yeah. Can't say I had ever heard of him. Being 72 and a non league player at best may explain a lot. This Ken Moran is the uncle on the paternal side of a friend of mine. The Liverpool/Man City fan is his uncle on t'other side. Uncle and nephew are both friends. I don't know much about Fleetwood pr...

By the way Boss - Escape to Victory??? Really??? That was a truly dreadful film. Sly Stallone trying to play football and Bobby Moore trying to act - and that was only part of it. Its fair to say it was a long season ... Scunthorpe away when we suddenly turned out in an all White kit ..took the lead and lost ... I was behind the goal too ... away wins at Stockport and Rochdale earlier in 1987 surely we'd be okay ... mmm .... then Crewe totally depressing....what a drive home ...

Yes, but the Gateshead FC that went out of the league in 1960 had previously been South Shields FC until they moved in 1930. Whenever I hear an "expert" eulogising about those wonderful Chelsea fans I remember being at Stamford bridge in 78? Division 2 in a crowd of just over 8000. Chelsea's lowest league gate. Burnley lost 2-0 in a match fitting the occasion to be honest. Anyone else there? Probably not! 82/83 8184 at S...

Re: What games have you watched with lowest attendance
Chelsea used to get some really poor crowds until the money and the trophy hunters turned up. It was a dreadful ground too. Been there a couple of times late 60s and early 70s, one was the FA cup tie that we drew and someone posted on the 'biggest attendance' thread about the replay at the Turf. I ...

Aye very true and I enjoyed that one ... mind you I enjoyed the win at Middlesbrough too.
The Cup has had its day for reasons various , I was on yesterday ... we lost , we move on, I'd have rather seen us win but such is football in the 21st century.

It would be better if the club and so called super fans just admitted the club donβt care. Because if they do thatβs even more worrying. In eight years we have won THREE Fa cup ties. And two of them were in the same season before being disposed of by Lincoln. Thankfully I saved my hard earned today...

That away kit was introduced after promotion. Strangely, we wore that shirt with white shorts and clarets socks at Sheffield United on the opening day of the season but then introduced the sky blue shorts and socks. The shirt was the same colours as we wore in the 1947 FA Cup Final shirt. We certai...
