Re: Chris Wood
You had obviously never watched him or seen him in glimpses. I had seen him live possibly 5/6 times and a fair bit on TV due to Leeds always being on. Yes last season he had a good season as the focal point of an attacking Gary Monk side, much like Bony at Swansea. Before that whenever I had seen h...

Re: Nahki Wells - The Right Attitude
Ahh right cheers, thought he wouldn't have been turning down a premier league football club due to other offers, after being released by PNE. He's no spring chicken. It's surprising any young GK get through to first teams, if all clubs use an experienced one to play in the under 23's. No wonder the...

Re: Nahki Wells - The Right Attitude
As regards goalie what dont people understand about needing a gk with experience that plays with the U23s. That is what they are signed for. Maybe not good enough for 1st team but good enough to instill confidence to a young u23 backline.

I struggle to believe we couldn't have signed him the summer if we really wanted him. Let's not forget he was released by PNE, so highly doubt he would have turned a premier league move down. Anyway it's irrelevant. I may be wrong but I am sure he has alluded to outside issues being the reason he d...

I was always led to believe that you start the game with your best players. We didn't today. To a man, they were faultless. Whoever our best team was, it wouldn’t have done better. I agree but and its a big but ...... if we do that the trust in the group for SD can go. Looking in how would Taylor v...

We need a number 10. Hendrick has done okay but we need someone who can produce a bit of magic. Like Sigurdsson at Everton. Problem is the finished article cost a fortune. Hopefully we have someone in mind and are doing intensive scouting on them ensuring their personality matches that of the group....

A question for any that watch our development squad matches. Do they defend in the same way as the first team as to protect the GK and narrow angles. Was wondering as not many clubs do this and seems to me to be one of the main strengths SD has instilled in the team. Would be nice to think that SD w...

Fleetwood used to announce on average 2000 more fans than were on. This was when they got into the football league. It was a way I was told of cheating the FFP rules. It enabled them to get in players on higher wages and was part of the reason they soon got promoted.
