Re: Holiday in Cape Verde
Went about 15 years ago. We were probably one of the first to go there. The tour operator told us on arrival ' just imagine you' re on the moon'. Would be intrigued to see how much progress has been made. Wall to wall sunshine but a constant breeze. Very relaxing though and that is what we wanted. A...

I've never known the Number 10 as a player playing in midfield. For me, it's the player who plays off the main striker. They can be the target man or someone who plays 'in the hole' in a 4-4-1-1 and helps to connect midfield to the striker. That's what Jakub's Tash said. A No 10 links the play betw...

Just checked and Spurs were 9-1 up at half time. I suspect it was full price and despite Crewe being a Div.4 team the attendance was over 64,000. Now, that was the magic of the FA Cup. Crewe had their chance the previous Saturday in front of around 30,000 at Gresty Rd but couldn't take it. Edit: sho...

Halfway down that draw is one game that brings some memories flooding back. Crewe Alex.v Tottenham. For the younger posters on here Spurs scrambled a 2-2 draw at a muddy Gresty Rd. in the first game so went to the replay at White Hart Lane a few days later in decent spirits. Regarding the Newcastle/Forest tie Moncur's winning goal was yards offside but there was no way it was going to be ruled out.

A bit of an over-reaction by the Guardian, had we beaten Aston Villa all would have beeen well. A couple of victories and we will be back on course for mid-table. Similarly, had we lost at Bournemouth we would now be in the bottom three, I believe. This is most certainly a relegation scrap that I m...

Another area I feel we've shown weakness is our tactical naivety. In this league a team like us is going to be beaten because the opposition simply have too many better players. However, this season there have been too many occasions where teams have beaten us because they had a plan and it appeared...
