I have no problem with it. Do what you can to win the game. If they came and tried to play us off the pitch, they’d have been battered. They rightfully played to their strengths and probably deserved more from the game.

Jesus Christ! The moaning you get on here is unbearable at times. I’m struggling to know what people want. Last weekend we conceded three sloppy goals and we were too expansive and open. Today we win and keep a clean sheet and we’re boring, slow and sideways.

I think he’s going to be good for us. Can play all the midfield roles, more robust and physical than many of our other signings, and very good technically. Looks a player.

No way do you drop Bastien. Absolutely vital to our outstanding ball retention first half against Huddersfield. Massively important player to what Kompany wants to do in my opinion.

He offered a lot more goals than anybody else did and if it wasn’t for him, we’d have been down by Christmas.

Funny, my random memory is also Luton at home in 2007. Think it was our 19th game without a win. Ended 0-0. One of the most lifelessly boring games I’ve ever witnessed. The most interesting part was watching a plastic bag waft its way across the pitch. Offered more of a threat than our strikers.
