Re: Unpopular opinions
Barkley and Townsend - could have had them both. But no, Tresor and Ramsey instead. In other words, tried and tested experienced Premier League players rather than novices. Burnley's huge error. Luton's sensible choice Blimey Is my opinion unpopular? Popular probably, full of hindsight 100% Barkley...

Was tempted at weekend to have a do at Rovers going down priced at 4/1 but saw they had 2 home games this week and decided not to. They are now 100/30 after last night and after Plymouth on Saturday there can't be many around them with a tougher run in. Boro away Ipswich home Sunderland away Southam...

Hamer has actually not been as bad as your making out. 6 goals contributions in 25 apps from CM certainly isn’t to be sniffed at. Has he been a world beater no, but neither has anyone we signed either. 2 goals and 3 assists he has this season, so less goals than Brownhill. Maybe Brownhill isn't to ...

The 3-2 there under Coyle was brilliant, comfortably Chris Eagles best game for us. I can't see there being quite the same buzz about the place this time. It might be boring to you. It is just to illustrate that Sheff Utd have spent Jack shite and we have spent circa £110 million excluding what we have got to pay for the ineffectual Mike Tresor at the end of the season and we are just as bad as them. That’s all. They did sign Gustavo Hamer though and...

Other than the Turf it was the first ground I ever saw us win at. That was in the FA Cup 6th round in 1962. There have only been two wins there since. I knew we didn't win there that much, and having been at off top of my head the FA Cup game 2-2, a 3-2 win there and a 3-3 draw I would never have g...

Ask yourself this - if you were in legal trouble and you went to see a lawyer - serious business - would you be more likely to hire someone wearing a suit and tie or someone in a baseball cap and tee-shirt? If you are owner or manager of Burnley FC it should be serious business too. Have we ever be...
