Re: Getting promoted too early
Our last year's team was a joy to watch, it was perfectly balanced with a blend of experience and young, talented players, and the each member of the team knew what his role was as well as that of his team mates. This has been replaced by signing a lot of inexperienced, light weight youngsters from ...

Re: Price if a pint where you live
Here in Benslmadena some bars are still serving pints of Mahou/San Miguel/Victoria etc at €1.50 a pint (£1) whilst the norm is around €2.0 a pint (£1.33). I quite often drink bottles of Mahou which is about €1.5 a bottle (£1.0). A pint of John Smiths or Guinnesd varies from €3-4.. The prices here va...

Re: Gooners v Clarets match thread
Not a bad overall performance from 10 of the team, but if Trafford starts the next game before Muric then there are serious questions to be asked about VK's judgement/stubborness. Why oh why didn't we spend the Trafford money on Tella?!!

That's weird, because Koleosho, Amdouni and Berge all started in the team that beat Luton. The point I was thinking in my own mind is that Luton ...

I watched MotD last night for the first time in a long while. Why did they not show the possible red card for the foul on Trafford. From tv Trafford 6 one bad punch and some very average distribution, nothing else to do. Vitihno 6 still say he is not a defender, Schlupp simply ran past for their first goal. Why the f.ck was Cullen marking Tarkowski at the back post? That is poor tactics and planning and simply should not happen. You have to blame the coaching team for that.

Much better first half performance than of late. Some of the football was reminiscent of last season, with Muric, Berge, Laarsen and Delcroix all playing well. I feel much safer and relaxed with Muric in goal, whilst Berge has looked like a PL midfielder. We can get a result here.

The worrying thing for me is the fact that we look like a group of lads who have just got together for a kick about, having never played together before. Our midfield is so weak and lacking physicality, it"s hard to see us getting back into this. Koleosho on, might help.
