Basically we're in a mini league with the clubs you've just listed. The thing that worries me a bit is our home form recently. Last season off the top of my head we only beat Sheff U of the team's around us.

Understand your point but Jermaine Beckford, who apparently knows him well and he went into detail about it today. Says he wanted to play more centrally. Even Brendan Rodgers who is known for giving youngsters a chance got fed up with him. Which suggests a disruptive character. Maybe he suits a cen...

Pretty sure we won’t be competing with Everton on wages! We could have been in for him when he left Leicester to go to Germany. Show a bit of imagination, Jarrod Bowen had been banging goals in for about 18 months before West Ham took a chance on him. We seem to sit twiddling our thumbs then compla...

What the does Young have to do with anything, anymore? He was a player our manager thought would be valuable, he signed for Villa. What is left to debate? The under 30thing some folk to obsess on is a complete irrelevance to building a team for this season. A thirty something is not necessarily ove...

The novelty of being in the top flight has worn off now. Simply aiming to finish 17th and hoping there's three worse teams doesn't exactly fill you with much excitement for a new season either.

I wonder how Tarkowski must be feeling as everyone who needs a centre half are ignoring him, perhaps waiting until next season when they can get him on a free If he waits till next summer he'll probably have a few decent options to pick from, and get a big signing on fee. Wouldn't argue with your top 4, although I think Chelsea in particular and United will push City a lot closer this time. But what’s the point competing for a prize you don’t want (I.e. the Premier League). That's a good question. The money situation means we're effectively just playing to survive every season.
