My wife and I are on what would’ve been classed as good wages a couple of years ago, but we’ve no spare money as it is having three kids at school age, a mortgage, a newish car etc.

We probably should use the butchers more often, because you forget how good the quality actually is.

Brownhill could fairly easily be the best central midfielder in the league this year.
He’s very good at this level with his dynamism and it’s hugely beneficial for us that it looks like he’ll chip in with a few goals too.

If we’re using last season’s contribution and effort as a marker to determine if you’re suitable for Kompany’s Burnley team, we’d have been starting with an entirely new team from top to bottom.
Cornet is easily good enough for this team. He offered more than Rodriguez for starters.

Is there the capacity at Gawthorpe for additional parking? Would they likely get planning permission to build a stand or two? The finances have to stack up if we’re thinking of making significant investment in the women’s team and their facilities.

Long, long way to go.
If VK gets the last couple of players that he wants then anything is possible.
I still can’t believe a team full of so many debutants ‘clicked’ like that in their first competitive game.
Absolutely outstanding.
