Was a privilege to watch him. I remember the goal against Hull and thinking just how far we had come when a player of that caliber was in our team. Such a shame it was only a short period that he graced the Turf.

I’m really not one for OTT slamming of our players or even criticising them unduly. But we really have been dreadful. The number of misplaced passes is unbelievable. I know conditions aren’t great and we as usual have players missing. But there really is no excuse for this performance.

Two penalties overturned today, where the attacker has fallen over as if shot, following the slightest of contacts.
Hopefully will continue in this vein. Football is not supposed to be a non contact sport!

Agree Tony. I know when I coached Junior Football some clubs would trawl the teams get loads of young kids to join the academy. They wouldn’t be able to continue playing for their local teams, missing out on years of just playing football for enjoyment, then getting released. Basically for the clubs...

So in tier 2.
Pubs are open, but I am guessing that because households can only mix outdoors, pubs without beer gardens(with umbrellas and heaters!) will be empty?
I am guessing landlords it would have been better to be tier 3? At least if forced to close they could get furlough payments for staff
