Re: All time Burnley " Hard men " XI ....

I’d say Ben Mee. Not one for diving in but can handle a rough tackle. Barton? Nah, he whinges like a right bitch when on the receiving end Know what you mean in his pre Burnley days. He did sometimes bleat a bit. Not here he didn't though. Only time I saw him come close to chucking his toys out was...

So maybe the game you would have chosen for games to remember. If and when we ever get back to normal, I'll try and make the games to remember feature a regular one with posters choosing their favourite games. Sadly can't remember too much about the game itself. There was disappointment at the end ...

My first Clarets game.
It was to be another 3 years before my Dad relented and went on to the Turf with me.

As for that John Talbot....fancy sticking two sets of four up at Ritchie.

Certainly do. Spent most of my misspent youth in the Leewood, the George, the Bakers, etc in the days of pub drinking with our mates until 11 with the bonus of an occasional lock-in afterwards. The other alternative was the Gaslight on the market place for a night out on the tiles ... Depending on ...
