I hope Westwood as got something else in is locker than hoofing it down the channel's like he did under Dyche as it's not in Kompanys book I wouldn't think 😂 Westwood was acting to orders from the previous coaching team - I think we will see a new version higher up the pitch in the role that Brownh...

This will be very interesting - particularly the choice of subs. I think that Zaroury will have been heavily involved in the WC and will become the “impact sub” for this game - so Tella starts. Rodriguez will edge out Barnes and those will be the only changes from the starting lineup for the last ga...

What stands out is Brownhill’s involvement in a high number of these goals. The most underestimated player in the squad who was badly missed at SheffU.

Re: The season so far...so many positives
One other thing I would add as well is that fans need to understand the sideways and backwards passing, particularly in the first half, gets moans and groans from some fans. But this is clearly part of the plan to grind down the opposition. We have to stick with them through these periods, look at ...

This would be my lineup too. Maatsen playing higher up the pitch with Taylor behind him. Zaroury playing the Tella role and Vitinho on the right wing. We then have Benson, Tella and Derv as super subs. and I would also include Kevin Long and (yes) Barnsey to shore up the defence against the inevita...

If there are any doubts leave them out. We will also be without Brownhill as well of course, so the early parts of the first half are critical. We can’t afford to go behind to this team, as they and their fans will be well up for it. We need cool heads, experience and tough tacklers for this part of...

Muric THB, Beyer, Taylor Roberts, Vitinho, Cork, Bastien/Cullen, Maatsen Zaroury Jay Hard to leave Benson out but think we have to be a bit more pragmatic, given potential injury to Cullen and Brownhill suspended This would be my lineup too. I agree - when Benson started against Watford he was anonymous after being booted in the air a few times. When he comes off the bench after 60 minutes he is a nightmare for a tired fullback who has already been booked. Our secret weapon.

One game at a time - underestimate the opposition at your peril. Rotherham are in this league on merit and are above the likes of Blackpool, Stoke, Hull and Cardiff - who have all taken points off us.
Forget about the following two for now - 3 points first and foremost from tonight’s game.

Cork and Cullen back in, surely. My reasoning for playing the same starting team is to limit the risk of injury to key players during the high intensity of the first half against Rotherham side who will probably looking to “rough us up”. There is every reason to think that Rotherham will adopt the ...

Same lineup that started yesterday - 5 subs is the key to managing games. Another 3 points from the midweek game is more important than protecting players. If we keep things the same we will have a very, very strong bench for the Rotherham game - especially if both Cork and Cullen are back. So if th...

Surely it’s time for football to adopt the HIA (head injury assessment) that Rugby uses, whereby the player(s) are immediately subbed, taken off the field for a medical check and if all clear can return to the action later. This would stop play-acting and deal with serious head injuries quickly and ...

Yet again footballers defy medical science. In last night's match Cardiff goalkeeper Allsop was apparently knocked out from the collision that led to the penalty. So far we’ve looked good, but vulnerable late in games. No mention for Vitinho either!!!
He was brought down for the sending off and provided the assist for Brownhill’s strike off the bar. He did more in his cameo appearance than some others did during the 95 minutes and deserves to be on the list.

A trier who puts himself about a bit is not a good fit for this brand of football. Barnes had his day when Dyche played him as a twin, long-ball battering ram alongside Wood.
