Well I am.signed up on Twitter and since the weekend none of the links posted on here will open up for me. Okay! It's because Elon imposed a temporary lockdown on anonymous logins to twitter due to a high number of scrapers. It will work if you login to twitter on whatever app you open the link in ...

Maybe we could then have a thread called Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and DISCUSSION. This is my last post on this master, or i'll fall into the same category of filling up the thread with non-transfer discussion. Just in case it isn't clear, the discussion in the title, means 'disc...

This is a keeper to get very excited about by the looks of it. Looks like he constantly pushes it back into danger areas from those clips. ...

It makes more sense we will want to sign more British players for next season, like Jack Clarke. Don't you still 8 home-grown players for the Champions League? We'll have to keep an eye on this with our recruitment to ensure we have a big enough squad for our run in the Champions League the season a...

Either their could be truth in this or it is to leverage to get Chelsea to sell, but which would you prefer Mattsen Or Gomez? https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/a-real-coup-burnley-eye-swoop-for-manchester-city-man-the-verdict/ I expect we want Maatsen and Gomez. Charlie is the one we will move on,

1926 the new bridge was built.
Thanks, I'm not that old. I think I must be remembering the mens toilets under the bridge that they closed.

Back in the good old days
Great picture. I have a vague memory of it being like that, but not sure if it was in my time or not. When was it widened to the way it is now?

Would love Luton to win this. A proper football club with a proper old ground.
Yet all the coverage beforehand was about how amazing Coventry's tale was. An entitled club if ever I've seen one.
It would help with our chase of Gyorkes too.

As above. Tuchel sacked, Potter sacked, Frank useless but the players still collect mega-salaries.
Not for much longer. The chairman has said they will all need to take a massive cut next year, due to not being in the Champions League. That probably isn't helping with morale either.

I listen to IPTV streams from both home and away teams. Phil is the best commentator in the league. His enthusiasm and passion comes across every match. Leave him alone.

I haven't seen Churlinov have a good performance all season. He doesn't seem to have the control he needs at this level.
Perhaps he needs a full pre-season?

I haven't received an email either, and it isn't in any of my spam folders.
Does this include season ticket holders who renew via direct debit?

Most United fans I know really like him for what he contributes to the team. He doesn't score many, but he contributes a lot to their hold-up and interplay. Just like Ashley does for us.

My apologies for misreading the title, thought we were talking about the role in the team that Ash has been playing since the Rovers game.
Of course Ash is and always will be a club legend.
We were. Otherwise the title would have been, 'Can Wout become the next club legend like Ashley'.

I used to think that, but I don't know any longer.
We don't know the circumstances of how he was signed. There have been suggestions an agreement was in his contract that he wouldn't play in the Championship. If it was, then his words at the time can be taken in a different context.

Reports surfaced last night that United will not be trying to sign Wout on a permanent deal. He hasn't scored many for them, but he has worked his socks off for them, and puts himself about a lot with some excellent touches. I could see him coming back and taking the role Ashley has been playing for...

I said it and believed it from the start too. I always expected relegation to be the perfect chance to rebuild an aging squad and much lower cost than in the Premier League, and to win a lot more games.
But even I didn't expect direct promotion with 7 games still to go.

For our first 8 games, I feared seeing his name on the teamsheet. It felt like the Burnley that Ashley represented was a thing of the past and his antics of falling over every time he was touched was embarrassing, and prevented us playing the football we were now enjoying. But boy has he proved me w...

Why do people think BPF needs to go? He has been a superb stand in for Muric this year and has adapted his game to how VK wants to play with excellent distribution. I think he is perfect backup in his current form.

Not sure if it is posted elsewhere, but Nixon is now reporting that an independent tribunal have ruled in favour of the EFL in refusing to sanction the deal for Lewis O'Brian after rovers spent more than £100k on legal fees to bring it to tribunal. Forest will now look to find a loan move to the MLS.
