There was a point today when Wharton had the ball, I' hazard a guess he was 2-3 yards from Amdouni and he ran across him right to left, any player who gave one iota of a toss would have taken the ball off Wharton...........Zeki just watched him go by, not even a thought to challenge. Our biggest issue was not recruiting a player in the centre of the park who could have protected the back four and allowed us to use the system in the opening post. At the beginning of the season we'd lose the ball in the opponents half and almost immediately the opposition would have a chance on ou...

Trafford - 4 Some good saves but another game defining moment, that kills the game for us. Back four are doing well, I've seen far more fight in throwing their bodies on the line today than in a lot of games this season.
The ball retention from minute one has been abysmal, if you continually turn the ball over you have to defend brilliantly to get anything.

The first yellow is a stone wall booking don't be fooled by him trying to pull his leg back, he knows exactly what he's doing.
The second yellow is softish but not by today's standards, he's very lucky to be on at half time.

Just watching Brighton playing their way out of trouble then, how they strike the ball with purpose.
We are now playing the safe pass and quite often play our way into trouble, under hit passes that leave us vulnerable to being dispossessed.

Other than a late appearance to wave goodbye, Jack is unfortunately finished at Burnley. Give me the version of him that arrived from Swansea now and he'd help the team massively.

Awful refereeing for a truly awful tackle by Holgate.
This is where the powers that be say VAR is brilliant without calling out the ref for getting it so wrong in the first place.
