Re: Is Mary Bousted deluded ?

I’ve been a teacher in Burmantofts, Leeds (edge of Harehills and in the bottom 1% for social deprivation nationwide) for 16 years this September. Firstly, I think the education system is in an absolute mess but that’s a government issue and I’m not going to go all political. I’ve had MANY days when ...

If they aren’t there it might be the smallest ever number of senior players reporting in on the first day. I can only think of Cotterill’s first summer that might rival it.
That first SC was unbelievable. Didn’t we start with about five players?

Don’t know whether it’s worthy of note, but Uriah Rennie is top of the list, having reffed a defeat. Can’t remember the game, but I do remember him as a ref, and the scores are excellent. Coupled with our reputation for being a town with serious issues around race, I doubt scoring Rennie the highes...

RATE THE REF - ALL TIME LEAGUE TABLE (since August 2007)

It's taken a bit of putting together, and no doubt there are a few errors....possibly even one or two omissions (please shout out if you spot anything), but here's an all-time table for every ref to have officiated a Burnley game since August 2007. For reference, the first RTR game to feature was: B...

Re: Mixing Cheeses - Cheese on Toast Ratios

I occasionally mix cheeses when I do curried beans.

Tin of beans (Aldi)

Handful of cheese: 50% cheddar; 25% Parmesan; 25% blue

1tbsp curry powder

Small handful sultanas

A small portion of this would accompany my death-row menu!

I’ll just say, I really think that this chase, even the thought of chasing it, would not have happened, had England not opened up like they did yesterday to chase down their total. It just shows how inspiring our national team and our very best players can be.
