Re: North Stand Chat
I have no issue with Brighton and I agree with the Brighton fan who says the more clubs like us and Brighton populate the PL, the better and more competitive it will be. Brighton is actually a great place for excellent pubs before and after games (as is Lewes) but the only issue I really have with t...

Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Brighton
We really weren't awful first half. Admittedly Brighton played better than they did second half and we weren't quite as good as we were second half, but tbh we could easily have gone in level. Brighton actually impressed me first half, but looked so "Burnley" second half defending what they had and ...

Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Brighton
We need to replicate that kind of attacking threat against all the teams in the lower half, including the bottom 3 and we'll be far too good for them, but we're so hard to predict right now and you never know what we're going to serve up.

Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Brighton
It will be unfortunate if we look back in May and say "2 points dropped today cost us everything" because we really should have won tbh, BUT most on here were happy with the point at 3.00 and even more were happy with it at 3.45, so let's just see it as one more step the bottom 3 have to climb.

Absolutely excellent today EXCEPT for getting that all important goal. I really felt for him, but his work rate is immense and with that amount of commitment he HAS to be a "Dyche type player". He definitely gives us something different.

He did have a good game and made several really good saves, plus he nullified a lot of our usual threat by coming a long way out to claim high balls. fair do's.

Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Brighton
I don't think we've done too badly, especially going forward. Vydra, Lowton and JBG are getting a lot of room and a lot of joy, but we have to make it count. Barnes sadly is a passenger and it's definitely hampering us. Their goal is awful from a Clarets perspective, but tbh Brighton kind of sum up ...

I'm a fan of his and I have felt for him with his constant injury woes, especially following the awful tackle in the Lincoln game which actually went unpunished. Re: Question about U-23 and/or Premier League 2
The thing is we have so many U23 players now that many will get very limited actual game time in the U23 competitive league matches. Therefore I believe we HAVE to look to loan some of these guys out (as we are doing and have done this week) or they will stagnate. They need to play competitively as ...

3 league games coming up which will be absolutely pivotal. We didn't do too badly overall and I agree that Pope's early error meant any remote chance of an upset was scuppered before it ever got off the ground.
