Would take a lot to dislodge Maatsen, but hey, what competition to have, and don't forget there is Taylor too, who I have to say is definitely not a CH

Re: Transfer Rumours Thread - NO FINANCIAL DISCUSSION
Time is running out-the club needs to move on. The club still has the option to loan and a striker and a centre half. Three of our best signings have been loans and means we can go higher quality without parting with cash, and probably prioritise players playing in this country. With too many overse...

Sadly he is human and this must embarass him too. I only played amateur football but when I played badly I knew better than anyone else. Do that for 7-8 games in a row (including pre season and against lower opposition) and you would start to get really down

Barnes playing tonight was a deprived opportunity for young players in this squad getting valuable game time. I am surprised and disappointed that VK has played him whole game when youth has prevailed in his signings. He has done precious little in the first 5 games and in pre season

As Barry Kilby would say-"lets not bet the ranch". Sound advice at the time. No sensible claret would expect to see that today-me included. Re: Thoughts on the first 5 games
We'll see how things go without Maatsen in the next couple of league games but I wouldn't change anything (other than a new left sided centre half), it's more how we deal with teams running in behind Maatsen on the break like what happened for the second goal on Saturday. I wanted Taylor to come an...

Think the Huddersfield game put us in a false sense of security, particularly with more players to arrive. WE need to be mindful that any Championship side, however much we dominate, will respond at some point in the game, thats when we need to dig in, manage the game time, but importantly have good...

Re: Less than two weeks, what do we need?
Too much over loyalty for some of our players. Taylor is not in the same league as Maatsen-he has been man of the match twice and scored the winner in 5 games .CT is cover for Maatsen at best. Taylors positioning in all goals we have conceded has been questionable-often drifting to the LB position, ...
