Re: Lincoln City's Allocation
If we beat Lincoln, which I'm assuming we will, and have given them 3,900, or whatever the capacity of that stand is now, then the next team we play, if it's at ours, will demand that exact same number and will get it. THis will mean that only 17,400 home fans could potentially watch a Cup quarter f...

Re: Prize Money 2017
Yep. They'll turnover around £12m this season I'd imagine, although we won't see those figures until next year.
It's why we have to keep putting a bit away for a rainy day, because if we were relegated then we'd want to be able to compete at the top end for a few seasons.

Finishing mid table is worth an extra £20m, which basically covers Brady and Westwood if we were to finish there. Club's finishing in the top 4 get an extra £40m, plus then the minimum £10m which comes from Vhampions League group stages alone. No wonder they go around throwing £40m+ on players. Rega...

Lincoln or Oxford at home would ensure an away sell out and a healthy home crowd, plus possible TV. It would also give us a chance to progress towards the semi final. That's how I remember it. Not every song had to be clapped to. The 'Burnley, Burnley, BURNLEY' chant was slow and meaningful, rather than the rushing through it. I've given this a bit of thought, fleetingly, over a number of years now, and through the frustrations of youth, to a more nonchalant state as I get older I think we must have the fastest singers ("Speed Singers" as some of our fans call them) in the entire Premier League and Football League. I think today would have been more exciting had we drawn Stourbridge or Wycombe. Something a bit different. The last few years we seem to have been drawn against clubs in similar league, which is boring in the earlier rounds.
