Re: Relegation

Saturdays game is massive. They will be no push over and Defoe will obviously be a threat- he only needs a sniff of goal.

I'm sure someone said that we have only 3 home games in 3 months after that so we need as many points on the table to get through that!!

Re: Time for a new manager

I agree, I want a manager to transform the hoofball to football. A risk taker, prepared to go at teams to try and win games. A foreign manager with the knowledge of the foreign market that we lack badly. Someone to get the best out of our better players like Defour, Hendrick etc. The attack is simp...

Re: Time for a new manager

Where did I mention giving him 10 million euros to join or a transfer kitty of 20 million? You're making it up, I never said anything of the sort. Well he's on 6 million now managing a massive club averaging 40,000 in his hometown and you're expecting him to leave there for a relegation battle in t...

Re: Time for a new manager

So what we need to do is sack Dyche today. Get on the blower to the Jorges Jesus- the bloke whose never set foot professionally outside Portugal- offer him 10 million Euros to leave the third biggest club in his homeland AND get the board to somehow sign 20 million (?) on new players from around Eur...

Re: Mr Dyche sorry but you are out of your depth

I agree with you KBRFC. 3 promotions with hardly any money spent does not mean you are well run. It means the first team is well managed. Extremely well managed. Yet you continue to ask for Dyches head because we don't play entertaining football. And I get it I really do. You want someone to come in...

Re: Mr Dyche sorry but you are out of your depth

Signing a player for twenty million and 50k a week would not cripple the club.

If you take 75% wages to turnover with a 30 million transfer fee deficit then the AVERAGE players wage for a 25 man squad is 60k a week

Re: Mr Dyche sorry but you are out of your depth

I think there's a reason why no one is ever after any of Dyche's players (except the very best- Keane and Ings). It's because it's generally accepted that we have a group of extremely average players that the manager gets the absolute utmost out of.

Re: We wont win away all season

You mean when we played our best against an average Man City team and still got beat ? Then people on this joke of a board say we just played a world class team as good as Barca or Bayern ?? Hahahaha Man City are not world class. Barcelona would put 9 past us. I was calling bullish!t to the stateme...

Re: Charlie Taylor

well it does really, if west ham technically bid 100 million for him, we can't afford him ! I take your point 100%, just can't see us bidding more than 5-7 million for him which I doubt would be anywhere near enough :( "Can't see us bidding" is completely different from "can't afford". Which is why...

As if we couldn't afford him. Bournemouth bought their best player in July for 6 million. Even if he was double that we could easily afford it.

Re: Charlie Taylor

Just been listening to talksport for once, and they had a bit of a go at Klopp (and other managers tbf), for not playing a full side. I agree!

Do away with Leeds, they're then two games from Wembley, and a trophy. It's not as if they're in Europe.

Re: Give me the Championship

I'm just going off what Dale Stephens' agent had said. In my eyes, it rings true because we asked Tark to down tools when Brentford weren't for giving him away. Unfortunately Brighton aren't Brentford and our bluff was called by their poker playing owner. We were arrogant last time we were a premier...

Re: Give me the Championship

Yes, more than willing with Grosicki and Stephens, and, had the Grosicki deal collapsed earlier then I'm sure we'd have had another player in. I don't think we could have done much, if anything, more to get Stephens. I must have missed this posting of a £60m profit - when did that happen? Obviously...

Re: Dyche has to go

That's it I couldn't remember. David Wagner is it? I don't know, Dyche is managing with his hands tied and imo still working miracles with a team devoid of any real premier league quality talent (barring Keane and Heaton) If another manager came in and we had to replace the whole coaching staff AND ...

Re: Is Glastonbury the World's Major Music Festival?

Coachella has a maximum of 100,000 each day whereas Glastonbury has 135,000 per day I think.

As for comparing V with Glastonbury, well less said about that the better. V has just six stages/tents. Glastonbury 60.

Funnily enough i was reading up on him this morning following his comments concerning Zlatan. Re: Best away performance of the season vote

Brentford was easiest on the eye for the first half but for me Preston was the best all round performance.

To go there, play the way we did and win under extreme pressure was fantastic.

Re: dyche it could all go wrong

Glass half empty? So you honestly think this "tired team" will be after a nice two weeks off?? Also if you're saying Brighton will be breathing down our necks, I'd say if we beat them (and we've won 11, drawn 4 of the last 15) rather than lose, then we have basically got one foot in the Premier Leag...
