I'd be delighted if crooked BFS took Palace down - sadly I think they'll just scrape survival though.

Re: Van Dijk
He's a Champions League defender no doubt - has everything you'd want in a modern day centre-half.
Romeu was very good in the first half but we got much more joy around him in the second, but I agree he should have walked for two blatant yellow case offences.

I've read on sky that Ranieri says he's only got room for two left-sided players in his squad (Fuchs and Chilwell) hence letting Schlupp leave.
There's not a huge difference between Schlupp and Brady.

Fantastic from the club - this year is likely to be an expensive one for me personally so this news is much appreciated.

Exactly, the players they're supposed to be signing appear to much the same as those already there.
Hopefully Bob Bradley has done enough damage to that club to ensure they go down.

Re: Burnley Most profitable!
Just to bring everyone back down to earth, these figures are 18 months out of date, so a bit of a pointless exercise really. When we eventually release our accounts to Jun'16 a break-even situation or even a small loss is likely. Even more important then that we invest now to achieve a second succe...

Re: Robbie brady
A few things I've read about Brady and Palace would suggest he'd be going there as a left-back, and Norwich fans are pretty much in agreement that he's better further forwards and would prefer to play there. I'm guessing we would very much see him as a wide midfielder, which along with our Irish con...

2.) It better not be because I couldn't handle the excitement of us trying to make signings and the Leicester game

Sunderland picked up 27 points in the second half of the season under Allardyce. I'd say it's hugely unlikely that Sunderland and Moyes will get anywhere close to that this time around.

Would be fantastic to beat Sunderland and put a 9 point gap between them and ourselves. They then head into January and lose Kone, Djilobodji, N'Dong and Khazri to the African Cup of Nations. I'd really fancy our chances of finishing above Swansea, Hull and Sunderland then. A defeat and who knows, i...

We'll probably have Defour, Hendrick, JBG all playing against Boro; and I have a feeling Tarkowski will get the nod at right back.
So that'll be 4 out of 5 permanent additions since last christmas, with the other being Nick Pope. Is that enough?

Re: Time for a new manager
The comparison with Aidy Boothroyd is void. When Burnley were relegated Dyche managed to turn us into Champions, when Watford were relegated they were mediocre at best and Boothroyd was sacked. There's no way the club would sack Dyche at this point, nor should they. Our home performances and results...

Did much better at getting down the sides of the Spurs CH's today and did well on a couple of occasions in the box.
He does lack quality though and, again, needs to keep working on that first touch and weight of pass.

Re: Mr Dyche sorry but you are out of your depth
Dyche is a quite exceptional manager at Championship level - he knows the league inside out, knows exactly what it takes to be successful and has the skills to make it happen. PL is totally different, and I think he's struggling now. He's not such a young manager anymore and he, just like the player...

Burnley - just like last time we're taking a while to find our feet at PL level, putting the shape of the team above our attacking fluency. Suspect when we find our best team, possibly with Hendrick wide right and Bamford up front with Vokes, we'll go on a good little run. Middlesbrough - going down.

Re: Dyches gameplan?
Dyche explained the game plan, put three in midfield to keep the ball a bit better and so restrict the momentum and tempo that Leicester are so good at building at home. Sounds like a decent idea but it simply won't be effective when your front three are as poor on the ball as ours were and the serv...
