I watched it last night for the first time for ages. I used to watch it a lot and go to a few tournaments when Phil Taylor was in his heyday. As dominant as Taylor was, he dragged others along with him and he used to at least get a decent challenge now and then. Littler was excellent but I was under...

Dive.
Interestingly they’ve just shown the Longstaff one at the other end. Minimal contact on his foot, goes down, not given.
We can add inconsistency to incompetence for the officials.

If this frees up a bit of cash for a left back then good.
Benny was unplayable at the end of last season but he’s 27, not contributing this season and we’ve higher priorities.
He’s not the messiah…. in this league at least.

I’m not sure Kompany’s here to build a new team every season. I’d like to think that talk of a fire sale is well wide of the mark.

The Championship team from last year is better than the current iteration, as I suspected. That side last year would be 14-15th and staying up, playing very good football. Mistakes were made buying a bunch of young, inexperienced, midgets. Aye, Maarten (5’6”) and Tella (5’8”) with their bags of Pre...

Bearing in mind that Foster is moving too fast for the camera (hence the clown shoes), how can they be sure to the inch of where he was? Bearing in mind that Foster would be moving at about 3 inches in 1/100th of a second, can they be absolutely sure that that picture was taken at the exact 1/100th...

Financial pressures?
The BBC pay out disgustingly high salaries to a bunch of non entities. I wonder how many people have to pay a licence fee to line the pockets of the top 20 on this list - and that’s before a programme has been made.

Maguire’s record for England is also very good. Englands record with Maguire playing is very good, but that's despite him not because of him. He's making at least one howler a game at the minute. Well if we go down and sack Kompany we’ll need a manager who knows how to get out of the Championship. Anyone know anybody that fits the bill?
Madness to sack Kompany. Yes it’s shite at the moment but we need to stick with it, accept whatever happens this season and come back stronger next season.

It's a decision that some don't like but that doesn't meant it's poor. Let's see how many turn up for the game.
It sounds great to me. With a 1pm kick off, even the Chelsea fans will be home in good time for anything that's planned for the evening.
