I wouldn't mind that too much if

1) They hadn't spent eight years saying none was available

2) It was given fairly over all the regions that need it

its not I don't like it, it makes more sense to prepare for one like that its just that if you revoke Article 50, I'm not sure you'll have the support to reenact it again.

I think the more pertinent example here is the injury to Marney.

I know we are still in for Adams, but this potentially leaves us with two good strikers, one who needs time, and one who can't play 90 minutes.

I think that is what people are worried about here.
